Mrs. Byrd's First Grade Busy Bees
I hope everyone is doing well considering the unique circumstances we are facing right now. I sure am missing all of your sweet boys and girls! Spring is always one of my favorite times as a first grade teacher. It's a time when we finish up the curriculum and see exactly how much they've grown academically since August! It's also that time that we savor the moments together knowing that summer is near and that we only have a short time together. Being in a classroom with each other creates such a special bond and I know we are all really missing each other! Please give your child a big hug from me! Although I'm unsure of the next time I'll see your sweet students face-to-face, I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about all of you and wishing you the best! I'll be sending out emails periodically to keep in touch. I'd also love to hear from your kids if you would allow them to email me sometime!
These are not "lesson plans" or anything that is required. These are simply educational resources! Several of these will be familiar ones that we do in class each week and a couple are new! :)
